Abstract/Summary

Wessex Archaeology was commissioned by Bourne Developments Ltd to undertake a programme of archaeological works, comprising the excavation of two evaluation trenches measuring 15.30m and 13.00m, on land to the rear of Prince of Wales House, Princes Street, Dover, Kent, centred on National Grid Reference (NGR) 631771141362. This was later followed by the excavation of a further trench and by watching-brief on groundworks associated with the development.
