Summary
Collapsed octagonal battery, steel fittings, with power cables leading to it, overlooking Saltpan Reach. This is the remains of one of three Defence Electric Light (DEL) emplacements which were part of South Boom Battery (TQ 87 SE 1141).

Collapsed octagonal battery, steel fittings, with power cables leading to it plainly visible. Faces over the Medway, Saltpan Reach. (1)
This is the remains of one of three Defence Electric Light (DEL) emplacements (TQ 87 SE 1200 & 1202) which were part of South Boom Battery (TQ 87 SE 1142).(2)
