Collapsed octagonal gun battery, concrete with steel fittings, over looking the Medway, Saltpan Reach. (1)
This is the remains of one of three Defence Electric Light (DEL) emplacements (along with TQ 87 SE 1199 & 1202) which were part of South Boom Battery (TQ 87 SE 1142).
