Findspot record TQ 87 SW 1002 - Romano-British burnt soil horizons and pottery, edge of salting, Bishop Saltings, Gillingham

Summary

Previously identified Romano-British burnt soil horizons, sighted on the edge of Bishop Saltings during a survey in 2004. At this time it was apparent that erosion had destroyed in situ deposits, although a vast amount of Romano-British pottery was noted on the foreshore.
