Full Description

Line of single piles.Not shown on any mapping. Photogrpahs (1-9).

Assessment by the Pillbox Study Group concluded "this is actually the Southern part of an anti shipping boom that stretched across the Thames to Shoeburyness. Metal poles that form the boom are clearly visible on 1946 APs and some remnants are visible at low tide today." (10)
