Full Description
Scaffold and barbed wire beach obstructions mapped from military aerial photographs taken in June 1942 when it was first observed. Situated on Shakespeare beach west dover, for approximately 550m from the centre to the eastern extent connecting with the western railway and ferry terminal. Running adjacent with an inshore wall between the railway station and complex and the beach.
Mapped and first observed from RAF/HLA/574 2049 3-JUN-1942. But not visible by RAF/106G/UK/801 6174-6175 13-SEP-1945.
