Full Description
Cropmark of a levelled ditch of unknown date or function visible on aerial photography taken in 1949 [1], 1978 [2] and 2006 [3] on arable land. The ditch ranges between 5.5m and 2m wide along its 170m length. It runs mainly E/W, but is not straight. It does not follow the line of any field boundary seen after 1876 [4]. The site lies within an area of similarly levelled earthworks.
