Full Description

Therefore this trenching may have been reused within a WWI firing range, or it may represent WWI dugouts which were constructed specifically as part of the range. The site was 70m x 50m. The site was not visible on Next Perspectives photography taken in 2007 [3].
These trenches were located S of a WWI redoubt (Mke42050). They were cut by WWII slit trenches (MWX43581).
A transcription of the features recorded from aerial photographs exists within a GIS layer held by this HER.
