WWII beach scaffolding visible on aerial photography taken in 1941 [1], located in Kingsdown. The site ran for 1,150m along the coast and was double thickness apart from the southernmost 300m. It was located variously just above and below the high water mark. These features were not visible on aerial photography taken in 1946 [2]. Next Perspectives photography taken in 2003 [3 and 4] also showed the site to be absent.

Another area of beach scaffolding was located to the N (MWX43629).
