Monument record MWX43666 - WWII site, Walmer
Summary
WWII site of unknown function, but likely military, in 1942 and 1946, located in Walmer. This site was comprised of two roughly circular ditches, a large possible ditch, an area of small structures and a single line of enclosing barbed wire. The structures and the ditch mapped as extent of area were not visible on the 1942 photography. The site was not visible in 2003.
