Full Description

The pillbox is centred at TR 0868 2719, and measures approximately five metres WSW to ENE and three metres NNW to SSE. It appears to be a Type 23 pillbox as it is rectangular in plan view, and has an un-roofed area at one end where an anti-aircraft gun could be mounted. (1)

Vertical aerial photographs of 2007 show that this location is now beneath modern housing, and the site of the pillbox is now in a garden at the western end of Cedar Crescent.
