Monument record MWX51339 - Second World War coastal battery, Dungeness
Summary
A Second World War coastal battery is visible on aerial photographs of 1941 and 1946 as a tall rectangular structure on the seafront to the west of Dungeness. It had been removed by the time of the vertical aerial photographs of 1973. This feature has been mapped from aerial photographs as part of the South East RCZAS NMP project.
