Full Description

The pillbox is centred at TR 0856 2756, and measures approximately four to six metres across. It is possibly a Type 24 pillbox. The pillbox is contemporary with other Second World War defences, such as a line of barbed wire which passes just to the east (Monument Number 1535056). This area has been developed for housing, and the site of the former pillbox now lies beneath houses on the north-western side of Laurel Avenue (1).
