Monument record TQ 96 SE 108 - Romano-British field system and occupation, Syndale Park, Ospringe

Summary

Ditches, post holes, a well and a road surface were found during a 2003 Channel 4 "Time Team" excavation. There was evidence for some form of ribbon development close to or along side the nearby Watling Street Roman road. Various associated Late Iron Age and Romano-British small finds including coins, and assorted pottery vessels.
