Full Description

Two Late Bronze Age pits. One was a large beehive-shaped storage pit with pottery of Late Bronze Age date in the lowest fill and Middle Bronze Age pottery in the higher fills. This has been explained as old material being redeposited into the feature. A small pit contained numerous struck flints and an end scraper. It also had Middle to Late Bronze Age pottery and animal bones. (1)
