Abstract/Summary
Intermittent watching brief on pipeline work by Southern Water in the vicinity of Aylesham and Snowdown. Very little of archaeological interest was located other than a concentration of scattered worked flints. These late neolithic or earli bronze age flints were recovered from an area 20m square and were badly fractured by the topsoil stripping. No features were found with the flints and it is possible the may have been disperesed by the mechanical excavator
