Trenching to determine location of possible abbey grange. One trench a line of sarcen stones were discovered. These had a good face on the south-east side, but a less clear face to the north-west. The core of the structure was filled with pieces of sarsen and large flint nodules. This was interpreted as the footings of a medieval farm boundary.
