Title | An Archaeological Evaluation at Holy Trinity School, West Hill, Dartford, Kent |
---|---|
Author/Originator | Archaeology South-East |
Date/Year | 1997 |
Abstract/Summary
Ten evaluation trenches were excavated to assess the archaeology of the site and to define the extent of a group of inhumations discovered by the Dartford District Archaeological Group in 1996. No further burials were discovered suggesting the group was quite small and within a well defined area. Three small features were recorded, two small postholes and a shallow ditch/gully, but no artefacts were recovered from them or from any of the trenches.
