Abstract/Summary
Report on archaeological evaluation of four trenches at Barton Court Grammar School. One backfilled pit with medieval roof tile and another pit with Anglo-Saxon pottery and other small finds of similar date, backfilled with cess and domestic waste. Other features include an undated ditch or field drain and two large quarry pit features of probable late post-medieval date.
