Abstract/Summary
An interim report on an evaluation by MoLAS on behalf of Union railways. Features from two boradly defined periods - from Mid/Late Bronze age to Early Iron Age and Late Iron Age to early Roman. The former dates included a boundary ditch and pit with residual worked flints. The latter phase included sherds, a concentration of pits, structural features, hearths and ditches. Small finds included pottery, worked flints, daub, ceramic building material and animal bones. Some cereal grains were also found. See Ske 15668 for a more detailed evaluation report.
