Abstract/Summary
An archaeological evaluation was undertaken, 67 trenches revealed archaeological activity throughout the prehistoric period into the Romano-British and Saxon periods.

Description
The report presents the results of the Stage 1 archaeological evaluation along the proposed route of a gas transmisson pipeline. The work revealed a number of discrete archaeological deposits ranging from prehistory right through to the Saxon period.
