Abstract/Summary
The church is remarkable for surviving of the 13th century particuarly the wall arcade on the North side of the nave and the remains of a tower at the East. The reconstruction of the South chapel as a maisoleum in 1584 and the monuments of the family of the Earls of Stanhope are are also of great interest
