Abstract/Summary
Report detailing the results of an archaeological excavation on land fronting Tothill Street, Minster, Thanet following An evaluation carried out at the same site. the earliest clear evidence for occupation belongs to the Early Bronze Age. By the later Bronze age there is evidence for settlement in this location. Through the later Iron Age, and possibly right up to the Roman invasion, the area of the site lay within a zone peripheral to a settlement centre to the north.
