Abstract/Summary
The report details an assessment made on land to the west of Staplehurst village centre prior to proposed residential development. The land is proximate to two designated heritage assets: Grade II listed farmhouse of 'Hen & Duckhurst' and the Grade II listed cottage known as 'Coppwilliam.'
Summary findings: the majority of the development will have no intervisibility with the heritage asset (Farmhouse) so its significance is not visually impact upon. Cottage - no impact by the proposals upon its significance and setting.
