A report "to clarify whether Monken Quay, 62B Strand Street, Sandwich is included in the List entry for The Long House, 62 Strand Street. At the time 62 Strand Street was statutorily listed at Grade II in 1950 the site was in one ownership but it is now divided into 62 (The Long House) and 62B Monken Quay. There is also a separate building in the ownership of Monken Quay, probably a store, with the address 64 Strand Street. In assessing Monken Quay it is necessary to re-assess 62 Strand Street which has a separate case number 1437307 and is travelling in tandem with this case at all stages." The report concludes that neither 62B or 64 Strand Street meet the criteria for listing.
