Abstract/Summary
An Archaeological Watch was kept during machine stripping of topsoil and vegetation and deep cutting of the hillside in advance of the construction of a detached house. The cutting of trenches and other groundworks for services took place after piling and construction of the concrete foundation raft.
The Archaeological Watching Brief revealed no buried archaeological features.
