Abstract/Summary

The map shows an artistic design for a pier in Dover harbour. Plans of Dover Harbour in the Sixteenth century by Alec Macdonald, decribe the situation of the map/plan being created, and so suggest the plan is of Cleck pier (Macdonald, 1937).
