Abstract/Summary
In 2013, Year 6 and 7 students at Beech Grove School who were studying local historywere inspired to participate in another excavation at this site, following a talk regarding excavations and test pitting in 2007 and 2008. An additional 11 pits were selected to target. 850+ artefacts were discovered including a total of 8 Late Roman coins. Pieces of large roof tile as well as classic hypocaust pieces indicate a larger building nearby.
