Abstract/Summary
Archaeological evaluation carried out in advance of potential redevelopment at Whitfield Old Park. 17 trenches were excavated and revealed that the site has been much affected by earth-moving, probably during its use as a barracks.A small number of 1st/2nd century Roman features were discovered including ditches, pits and possible hearth waste
