Abstract/Summary
Report on an Archaeological Evaluation at Land Adjacent to Church View, The Drove, Fordwich. Fragments of preserved timber were present in the alluvium and the tops of further upright stakes were observed but not explore further. A large pit was cut through the natural gravel at the western end of Trench 1, the waterlogged fill may also have contained preserved organic material.
