Abstract/Summary
Report detailing the results of an archaeological strip map and sample excavation carried out on Land at Court Stair Country Club, Pegwell Road, Ramsgate, Kent that exposed part a large oval pit containing a large amount of worked and struck flint identified as of early Mesolithic date. Also present was a post-hole containing Late Iron Age
potsherds, a horizontal colluvial deposit containing potsherds of the same date-range and many small, post-hole like pits interpreted as periglacial solution.
