Abstract/Summary
Site situated between cropmark complex and possible site of Roman villa. Trial trenching in advance of development revealed 2 ditches interpreted as of agricultural origin, one of Roman date, (pottery in fill), the other undated. 2 additional boundary or field ditches, dated to Mid-Late 3rd Century AD. Also scatter of worked flint of Late Neolithic -Early Bronze Age date.
