Abstract/Summary
During the replacement of a soakaway and drain line pottery sherds were discovered which were identified as probably being of an Iron Age date. There was a trench measuring 0.6m x 3.0m and a pit for the soakaway measuring 2 x 2m. The remains of an iron furnace, pottery, slag and furnace clicker were found.
