Abstract/Summary
An archaeological watching brief prior to the consent of planning application for development between 87 and 88a Broad Street. The site is adjacent to the Roman city wall, which was originally flanked by a wide ditch. During work this ditch was observed and also several walls relating to 19th century structures were uncovered.
