Abstract/Summary
Post excavation report of archaeological investigation in advance of CTRL development. Three broad periods of activity are noted - prehistoric, Roman, and post Roman. The most extensive evidence for the site is a large Roman cemetery containg a minimum of 326 inhumations and 235 cremations. The cemetery was subjected to virtually complete excavation
