Abstract/Summary
Assessment of excavation at former Bexley Hospital, Earliest activity is represented by the broken head of a Mesolithic Axe, and a number of MesolithicEarly Neolithic pits containg flints. Later activity is shown by a series of pits and postholes, most likely representing a former settlement. Little artefactual evidence was recoverd and dating these features remains problematic.
