Summary

A sub circular pit up to 1.90m in diameter and up to 0.23 deep. It fill contained some small fragments of daub, burnt flint and a waste flake. The feature was identified during site evaluation work in 2003

Full Description

A sub circular pit up to 1.90m in diameter and up to 0.23 deep. It fill contained some small fragments of daub, burnt flint and a waste flake. It is suggested that this feature is contemporary with other pits of mesolithic date elswhere on the site due to their similarity in form as well as the fact that it is truncated by stakeholes.
