Abstract/Summary
CAT conducted a monitoring survey following demolition of Faversham Gasworks and prior to redevelopment. Despite being in close proximity to a centre of historic importance, no archaeologically important remains were uncovered, however ceramic fragments representing domestic rubbish from virtually all periods c1150 - c1675 were identified.
