Summary

A mid 19th century drainage gully was located during a watching brief undertaken by Pre Construct Archaeology during the resurfacing of a visitors car park at Dover Castle in 2009. This was identified being within a yard area at the rear of the Officers’ Barrack as shown on original Engineers drawings. (location accurate to the nearest 1m based on available information)
