Full Description
During a watching brief undertaken by Pre-Construct Archaeology associated with the re surfacing of a car park at Dover Castle in 2009 an east-west drainage gulley was uncovered. It was located located approximately 0.10m below the ground level. The gulley was composed of large granite sets (average size 200mm x 120mm x 80mm) running along the length of the New Officers’ Barrack. (1-2)
