Full Description
An archaeological excavation carried out in2005/6 found a number of scattered bronze age features. These included ditches and pits that contained middle to late bronze age pottery, worked and burnt flint and charred plant remains including carbonised spelt and emmer wheat as well as wild pea/vetches, celtic beans and hazelnut shell fragments.
A few sherds of late bronze age / early iron age pottery were recovered. (1)
