Summary
In 2008/9 the Kent Archaeological Rescue Unit carried out an evaluation and watching brief during construction of an extension to the Visitor Centre. 5 small features were discovered comprising ditches, a pit and a possible oven. The features were accompanied by finds of Roman tile.
