Full Description
During evaluation trenching and excavation ahead of development at Springhead, a number of mid-late Iron Age features were uncovered including several pits, likely rubbish disposal pits. These were uncovered within the interior of a Late Iron Age enclosure. One of these pits contained abundant fired clay fragments and pottery sherds within its upper fill. (1)
