Monument record TQ 96 SW 1284 - Small medieval farmstead, Claxfield Farm.
Summary
Archaeological work in 2011/2012 at Claxfield Farm found a series of ditches, post holes and other features that were interpreted as representing a small medieval farmstead. The farmstead lasted from about the 12th to the 14th centuries though there were some later features too.
