Monument record TQ 67 SW 1757 - Drainage ditch associated with Watling Street, Springhead

Summary

A east west aligned ditch was discovered along the northern side of the temple complex, between temple three and Watling Street and would have acted as a drainage ditch to the road. The fills of the ditch contained a number of interesting small finds associated with the use of the temples. (location accurate to the nearest 10m based on available information)
