Monument record TR 36 NE 2496 - Iron Age occupation, Westwood Cross
Summary
Archaeological evaluation carried out in 2016 found evidence of Iron Age activity, and probable occupation. Iron Age activity was limited to a ditch and a pit, though a posthole in the centre of the site and unexcavated remains of a potential roundhouse indicate the possible presence of Iron Age/Romano-British structures
