Monument record TR 36 NE 2497 - Romano-British farm Westwood Cross
Summary
Archaeological evaluation in 2016 found evidence of a small Romano-British farming community dating from the 2nd to 4th centuries. A possible series of rectilinear enclosures was found, together with pits and a possible round house. Environmental evidence suggested crop processing on site.
