Monument record TQ 93 NE 100 - Late prehistoric cremation and features at Kingsnorth
Summary
Archaeological evaluation carried out at Kingsnorth in 2017 found in Area 1 features of probable prehistoric date. As well as undated ditches, a cremation was found that was radiocarbon dated to c. 1189 BC. Close by a probable oven was dated to c. 165 BC to AD 3, again by radiocarbon dating.
