Full Description
An programme of archaeological work carried out from 2004 to 2016 found a focus of early / middle iron age occupation in Area 3 (west). Three inverted and nearly complete vessels were found in a sub-square pit. These may have been ritually deposited. 3 m to the north, a large amount of early iron age pottery was found in a possible hearth. Immediately to the west a series of intercutting pits and a gully contained early / middle iron age pottery and burnt and worked flint. (1)
