Full Description

During a trial trenching evaluation in 2015, a number of probable field boundaries aligned broadly NE-SW and NW-SE, pits, ditches and two possible round houses were seen in trenches at Bilham Farm. Little dating evidence was found but on the basis of a few sherds of pottery, and comparisons with features elsewhere in the Cheeseman's Green development area, the features are probably of late iron age or Roman date.
