A group of undated ditches, post holes and a pit were discovered on land off Canterbury Road, St Nicholas-at-Wade in Thanet. The ditches in the north of Area 1 likely represent field boundaries, although their shallow nature could indicate they are actual the remains of hedgerows rather than boundary ditches. None of the ditches were dated by archaeological material or correspond with
known historical field boundaries or the Lidar data.The series of pits and postholes show no clear pattern, though some may form part of a former fence line. (1)

Many of these features were also revealed during an earlier evaluation of the site. (2)
